Natasha drives platform strategy and innovation at Bottomline across financial messaging and payment connectivity, interoperability, and the adoption of new technologies including API enablement, AI and digital assets. Previously at Swift, she led the Product Management and Go-to-Market strategy for the network’s fraud and anomaly detection initiative from inception and convened the Anomaly Detection Working Group across 17 major financial institutions globally validating use cases with banks, digital-first payment service providers, and fintech partners. At Sibos 2025 she moderated a cross-industry panel on AI for detecting payment fraud in an interoperable way across schemes, bringing together Nasdaq Verafin, ANZ, EBA Clearing, Memo Bank, and Finologee.

Sumitha Fernandez Musoles Director, Banking & Capital Markets at PwC

Sumitha is a UK Payments Director within PwC’s Financial Services Cloud & Data Transformation business, with 19 years’ experience leading complex payments transformation programmes for major UK and global banks. She specialises in aligning payments strategy, technology, and operations to deliver customer focused outcomes. More recently, she has supported financial institutions in adopting new global regulations, enabling the delivery of innovative services, including near 24/7 payments in the UK.
